Guided tours are being offered so you can learn firsthand about the heritage site, museum and visitor center as well as find ways to help us create this nationally significant historical attraction. Tours will be scheduled throughout the Summer.
Paul Revere Heritage SiteIn 2015, the Town of Canton acquired the Paul Revere & Son Copper Rolling Mill, the Revere Barn, and more than nine acres of open space. Funded in part through the Community Preservation Act and an innovative District Improvement Financing plan, this site is fast becoming a cultural, historic, and nationally recognized heritage destination.
The Canton Historical Society is working to develop a better understanding of the Revere family and their local connection. The vision includes a museum, visitor center, restaurant, and event space. The plans are well advanced and great excitement and local support is fueling a period of discovery and the development of economic and business forecasts. |
